when should I book my maternity Photography session?

I usually recommend to book in your second trimester to plan to have the session done in your third. Typically around 32-36 weeks is ideal so your belly is really popping! It is also very dependent on how you feeling too, if you are having an uncomfortable pregnancy or having twins you can come in for the session earlier.

Can I get more images than what is included in my package?

It is ideal to book your session during your third trimester. I cannot guarantee space will be available within a good time frame by waiting until your baby is born.

I host all newborn sessions in my professional in-home photography studio in Strathroy, Ontario for your comfort as I have everything we will need for a successful session here at our finger tips.

We simply book the session date approx. 10 days after your due date to make sure you have a spot secured. 

We all know babies can be unpredictable so if your baby is early or late I can switch dates around as long as my schedule allows me to do so. The Gold and Silver sessions allow more flexibility. If your baby is already born, it is not too late! 

I will happily take babies up to 6 weeks old (Gold or Silver package would be recommended), however if you wanted the sleepy posed newborn images it is best to book between 5-14 days of baby's birth.

can I still get photos done if my baby is over 2 months old?

Yes!

You certainly can, however your baby is no longer a newborn and in that case I highly recommend just a mini milestone session for babies between 3 months and 1 year.

Babies around 3 months cannot sit up yet and they are still mastering tummy time, I am a little more limited in what we can do in those sessions, but they can still turn out great and it is a beautiful memory for your family if you were not able to make it for newborn photos. 

Babies that are able to sit unsupported are always so much fun to have in the studio - it is a very fun age with lots of laughs and giggles. The options are wider with this age due to the fact they can sit up without any support.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?

I require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your session. The deposit however is non-refundable, but it is transferrable to another date as long as I was given the proper notice.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE MY GALLERY AND EDITED IMAGES?

My turnaround time is 2-3 weeks to prepare your gallery for viewing, depending on the time of year this could be more or less. The final edits can take approximately 2 weeks to be completed and sent back to you for downloading.

HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD MY IMAGES?

You will receive an online gallery and link where you will be able to download your images and even select your favorite images.
